About Freedom Road Laundromat

Since becoming the newest owner of Freedom Road Laundromat in June 2022, it has ignited a passion to provide everyone a clean and reliable laundromat experience. I remember growing up and going to the laundromat with my mother. It was a struggle to find a laundromat that was clean, safe, and provided us a reliable cleaning experience. There’s nothing worse than feeling like your hard earned money isn’t being put to good use! When we finally found “the one” we stayed there for many years until we moved away. As a student and athlete with a mom who worked two jobs, I appreciated the time we had at the laundromat to catch up with each other. Some days it's not what you're doing that matters most, but who you're doing it with and where you're doing it.

Today, I take my own experiences and work to provide the greater New Windsor/Newburgh community the same awesome experience. I personally love seeing families in here doing laundry together, having some precious time to connect, or just being present with each other. Time with each other is a precious and limited supply item that we should cherish even if it is catching up while folding clothes. I hope my mat provides that same clean, reliable and relaxing atmosphere that my mom and I were provided years ago.

I am also happy to offer a wash dry fold service that you can pick up/drop off yourself or schedule a delivery service. You might be living in the area, staying at the Hampton Inn Newburgh, Homewood Suites Stewart, Courtyard Marriott or the Cadet Inn or maybe attending school at the Mt. Saint Mary, John Jay or Empire State University. No matter what brings you to the area, we are happy to take laundry off your to-do list!
